Not sure that this really is a response in any way to Pat Benatar, but, well, I felt like playing show tunes today, and once again, playing Julie Andrews here. This clip is Julie Andrews playing the role she made famous in the 1961 Broadway play of My Fair Lady, Elisa Doolittle. The role that she would later be turned down for in the movie. (But we got Mary Poppins instead…)
I just love her cockney accent in this song, so…
