1-16-10 Cage the Elephant – Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked

Posted by Sean on January 16, 2010

Speaking of game music, Shanoah…

My friend has Borderlands for the XBox 360. He’s addicted to it, though I can’t see why. It’s basically a first-person shooter RPG, and the characters that you play aren’t exactly heroes… or even anti-heroes, for that matter. Words like “merc” and “murderer” come to mind [1].

However, it does have some good music. The opening theme is Cage the Elephant’s No Rest for the Wicked, and it’s burrowed into my brain the very worst of earworms. Luckily, I happen to like it.

[1] Although, now that I think about it, can’t you say that about the vast majority of heroes, too?
