12-14-09 A Very BRUTAL Christmas: Cradle of Filth – From the Cradle to Enslave

Posted by Sean on December 14, 2009

No no no, silly Shanoah! There aren’t any voices in the sky! Lemmy sez so, and Lemmy wouldn’t lie to you!

W-w-wouldn’t he?

Anyway, I’m getting a little sick of wall-to-wall metal. The holiday spirit’s getting to me… feeling all egg-noggy and figgy-pudding-y… no… must… fight… it… MUST… FIGHT… GOOD WILL TOWARDS MY FELLOW MAN!

Let’s wrap up this very, very BRUTAL Christmas with some screechy goth/black/death/just generally ee-vill metal. This is Cradle of Filth with From the Cradle to Enslave, with lyrics that just overflow, like a gangrenous chancre, with Christmas spirit:

Two thousand fattened years like maniacs
Have despoiled our common grave
Now what necrophagous Second Coming backs
From the cradle to enslave?
