You don't like that, do you, Mr. Undead Marine! RRRRRR!'"

Ymaelodi Ar Ymylon

Posted by shanoah on June 12, 2009

Now that we’ve seen the future, time to play some more Welsh music by SFA.

I personally thought Ymaelodi Ar Ymylon was pretty ccool, so I’ll play that today. Don’t have much else to say about this song, but I thought I’d share a lyrics translation I found:

They say we’re peripheral people
Spineless and feeble, roughneck and evil
And it’s so cool in the eye of the fountain
But the periphery sustains the hottest nettle

Joining the periphery
Banished to the periphery
Joining the periphery
The price to pay for all who stray

And there’s talk of the demon in music
That divides and rules us in musical envy
And it’s so lonely on the periphery
As if looking from afar at
something that’s near

Joining the periphery
Banished to the periphery
Joining the periphery
