4-4-09 Indricothere – II

Posted by Sean on April 5, 2009

Well, if you’re bringing Jesus to the party, guess I have to bring the Devil. After all, it takes two to wage final apocalyptic wars of good and evil. So now that we’ve got everyone here, let’s get it on! For the final battle for…

Um, for…

Actually, just exactly what will God and Satan be fighting over during the Apocalypse? They’re never really too clear about that. It’s just kind of assumed that good and evil will butt heads and bring about the end of the world, but they never say why. Humanity? Psssh, yeah, great prize. The Earth? It’s so polluted and screwed up, they can have it.

I have questions. And these questions make people look at me funny and pull out the torches and pitchforks.

Anyway, I don’t know just how evil Indricothere (Colin Marston of Behold… The Arctopus) is, but they’re metal, so they’ve got to be evil. I mean, look at the pentagram! That’s eeeee-vill with a capital Eeeee!

This is II off his self-titled 2007 alubm. I heard this track on Diane’s Kamikaze Fun Machine on WFMU this Friday, and when those crazy double bass pedals kicked in… well, let’s just say I made a bit of a fool of myself on the WFMU comment board.

Courtesy of AutoInfantcide. My gods, that name is so metal, it’s brutal.
