3-20-09 KID606 – The Illness

Posted by Sean on March 20, 2009

Well, you’re ending a theme, Shanoah, and I’m starting one.

I heard Germany’s KID606 (his label is Tigerbeat6 here) on Billy Jam’s Put the Needle on the Record on WFMU today. I couldn’t find his Be Monophonic With Me on YouTube, which is a shame.

But I did find this. It’s a curious combination of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Felix the Cat, Samurai Jack and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, with a little LSD and the healing power of techno thrown in for good measure.
