Peter And The Wolf

Posted by shanoah on February 1, 2009

Well, I thought I’d continue with the fairy tale theme. And did you ever notice how many Wolves there are in fairy tales? So to continue properly, I thought it was about time I played Peter and the Wolf. And since it’s too large for one youtube video, it’s split into two:

Peter & the Wolf – Part 1

Peter & the Wolf – Part 2

One thing I always liked with Peter and the Wolf was the identification of the musical themes at the beginning. And then, if you pay attention, you can hear them throughout the rest of the animation. Of course, by all rights, Peter should have been eaten. After all, that was entirely the wrong type of gun to take.

Or at the least, Sonya the duck should have been eaten. Oh well, it’s a childrens tale. The wolf is hella scary, though. And Peters grandfather making wolf shadow puppets with his beard is pretty cool…
