1-14-08 The Bran Flakes – What It’s All About

Posted by Sean on January 14, 2009

Well, I don’t have much time to post today either. So there. Nyah.

Anyway, I stumbled across this on WFMU‘s Beware of the Blog today. It’s The Bran Flake’s What It’s All About, off I Have Hands, to be released Feb. 24. I knew I had to post it as soon as I saw it. (I also knew I had to burn down a hotel because my dog told me to after I saw it, but that’s something else all together) It kind of reminds of a commercial for a certain brand of fruity oat bars from a fictional universe that no longer exists – except in Jayne-on-Mal slash fanfics, of course.

Keep in mind that this video was posted just yesterday on YouTube and had only 65 views when I got to it. I have no idea what that means… except that I’m musically hip now! Eek! The joy!

Clean version here at The Bran Flakes site, which includes the trippy Meadow, off 1999’s Hey Won’t Someone Come Out and Play.
