Stop The Cavalry

Posted by shanoah on December 15, 2008

Well, you know Sean, I think Rudolph‘s moms single. At least, I didn’t see a father around… 🙂

And, yes, it’s the misfits dream, in a way. Wouldn’t a high-powered flashlight have worked as well, though?  And if I discovered part of my body glowing, I’d be more worried about radiation then anything else.

Anyways, I’m going to play one of my favorite Christmas tunes:

Stop the Cavalry – Jona Lewie

I’m not sure what makes me like this song so much. I’ve always liked anti-war songs (and murder ballads. Never understood that.), and it could be that, or possibly just the general sentament, combined, of course, with catchy lyrics. Or perhaps I just like songs that reference Churchill.

Mary Bradley waits at home
in the nuclear fall-out zone
Wish I could be dancing now
in the arms of the girl I love
