Sean Daily is an English major from New Jersey now living in Las Vegas, the Other City of Lights. "I consider 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' to be comfort reading, I like the al pastor tacos at Tacos Mexico and I count among my literary influences the Chainsaw from 'Doom'. 'RRRRRR! You don't like that, do you, Mr. Undead Marine! RRRRRR!'"

Shanoah Alkire is our Discordian at large. "Born in Santa Cruz, I grew up in Grass Valley and the Bay Area, and now lurk in Las Vegas. My literary influences include Ray Bradbury, Lewis Carroll, and Douglas Adams. I also program as a hobby, and currently maintain the Gtk port of Angband. You can find a rather old bio of me here."

Yes, Sean, but why be sober? Wouldn’t you rather have some drinks, while some apes play some music for you?

Or perhaps it’s time for some heavier drinking? Whiskey, perhaps?

In any case, don’t beat yourself up too much, Sean. You’ve written some good stories. And we were talking about Ray Bradbury? Did you know that he claims something like 99% of what he writes is crap? He actually writes a certain number of words every single day, without exception, and only publishes a fraction of it. He feels that he has to write all the bad stuff out before the good ones start flowing.

Wish I could quote what he said about it precisely, but it was in the intro to a book, and I’m not sure where I put that particular book right now.
