Sean Daily is an English major from New Jersey now living in Las Vegas, the Other City of Lights. "I consider 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' to be comfort reading, I like the al pastor tacos at Tacos Mexico and I count among my literary influences the Chainsaw from 'Doom'. 'RRRRRR! You don't like that, do you, Mr. Undead Marine! RRRRRR!'"

Shanoah Alkire is our Discordian at large. "Born in Santa Cruz, I grew up in Grass Valley and the Bay Area, and now lurk in Las Vegas. My literary influences include Ray Bradbury, Lewis Carroll, and Douglas Adams. I also program as a hobby, and currently maintain the Gtk port of Angband. You can find a rather old bio of me here."

Actually, Sean, that post was more about me getting out of my comfort zone a bit. I’d been hanging on the the Garfield minus Garfield link for a while for it.

Today, though, I’m running a bit late, so I’m just going to post some videos.

500 Miles – Peter Kay and Matt Lucas (with the Proclaimers)

This is Peter Kay and Matt Lucas, in character as their characters from Little Britain, Brian Potter and Andy Pipkin, singing “500 Miles” with the Proclaimers for charity.

Take a close look at the credits: I still have yet to spot Osama Bin Laden in the crowd. And in case you’re like me, and haven’t watched Little Britain, (which I should, because Tom Baker does the voiceovers for the show), I think “The Andy Rap” is fairly typical of the show after watching a few clips:

The Andy Rap

Hmmm… Perhaps I should play an actual clip from the show:

Baby Jesus

There we go, voiceover by Tom Baker and all. And if you’re having trouble seeing what happens with that soda at the beginning, it was being used as an ashtray…
