"I consider 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' to be comfort reading, I like the al pastor tacos at Tacos Mexico and I count among my literary influences the Chainsaw from 'Doom'. 'RRRRRR! You don't like that, do you, Mr. Undead Marine! RRRRRR!'"

It was late and I was tired, or I’d have come up with better descriptive text with my post of Reflections. I had been wanting to post it for a while, though, because it was one of these songs that just grabs hold of you.

As far as todays post, since you posted “Band”, I thought I’d post Bang:

Bang – Gorky Park (Парк Горького)

This band was actually the first Russian band to be played on MTV. Its a nice loud piece that demands your attention, and the chorus just makes me happy for some reason:

Bang, say Da Da Da Da
Tell me yes and let's feed the fire
Bang Bang, say Da Da Da
Nothin' less, I wanna hear a yes
Bang, say Da Da Da Da
Tell me yes and let's feed the fire
Bang Bang, say Da Da Da
Tell me yes

And this song would not be the same if it wasn’t from a Russian band. All the Da‘s really make the song.

And somethings strange here; Sean’s posting a Woodstock song, and I’m posting metal. Isn’t that supposed to be the other way around?
