You may recall that I have a certain interest in internet memes. Well, ones of those memes is a video being called the craziest dancing on the internet, or “Benny Lava”.

Essentially, someone took a clip in a South Indian movie sung in Tamil, which you essentially have to be South Indian to understand, and put humorous, and to be honest, somewhat sophomoric subtitles on it.

Well, I decided to watch it without the subtitles, and decided I like it better that way…

Kalluri Vaanil

This song is from a movie called Pennin Manathai Thottu, and the main guy you see dancing is Prabhu Deva. With the way he dances, he’s often called “India’s Michael Jackson”, though, as you can tell, he’s interested in women.

Some of the dancing absolutely cracks me up in this video. And some of it is pretty close to sex with clothes on. You can see a video with a real translation here, or the fake translation here, if you must.

Chiku Bukku Chikku Bukku Raile

Here is Prabhu Deva in the movie Gentlemen. This is actually where he got his big break. The little kid at the beginning is great. Has various bizarreness; shooting arrows out of his eyes that seem to orient on her breasts? And Huzzah for the baggy pants…
