Sean Daily is an English major from New Jersey now living in Las Vegas, the Other City of Lights. "I consider 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' to be comfort reading, I like the al pastor tacos at Tacos Mexico and I count among my literary influences the Chainsaw from 'Doom'. 'RRRRRR! You don't like that, do you, Mr. Undead Marine! RRRRRR!'"

Shanoah Alkire is our Discordian at large. "Born in Santa Cruz, I grew up in Grass Valley and the Bay Area, and now lurk in Las Vegas. My literary influences include Ray Bradbury, Lewis Carroll, and Douglas Adams. I also program as a hobby, and currently maintain the Gtk port of Angband. You can find a rather old bio of me here."

Don’t worry, Sean, I didn’t really intend to write that much about it myself. I originally intended that as more of a one-off comment. It just sort of grew…

Today, I’m going back to the early 80’s / late 70’s again. I’ve decided to subject you to several songs by Blondie, and their lead singer, Debbie Harry.

Heart of Glass

This one, like the others, has the SkidVid logo, and was placed on youtube by susieretrofuture (as was “One Way or Another).

This was filmed in 1979. Note the two towers in the beginning and end of the song.

Call Me

More distinctive Blondie. Cheese, yes, but good cheese.

One Way or Another

Otherwise known as “I’ll getcha getcha getcha…”

This one, unlike the others, is live. Again, these aren’t songs I’d listen to every day, but I enjoy a cheese festival now and again…
