You don't like that, do you, Mr. Undead Marine! RRRRRR!'"

7-6-08 Shihad – Home Again

Posted by Sean on July 7, 2008

Hey all, I’m back from Seattle, back in the steambath-without-the-steam that is Las Vegas. Seattle had a high of 71 degrees under partial clouds… but I found out that you can still get a sunburn in conditions like that! Yay me!

And ow.

Anyway, it’s 90 degreees right now in Las Vegas with (and forgive me my Lady for saying this but) sun sun sun sun nothing but fucking sun now until two days after the trump of doom. Don’t get me wrong; a depressive like me appreciates sunshine… just not all the fucking time.

Anyway, it’s late, too late for me to figure out a way to link to Shanoah’s last post. So I just typed the words “home again” into YouTube and picked the first non-evil video there. (You’re lucky you’re getting anything, bubbie; I gotta be up, bright-eyed and bushy tailed in six hours) This is New Zealand’s own Shihad (MySpace here) with Home Again. I like how they tried to make it look like a single take, thought I’m pretty sure it has multiple takes; if you pay attention, you can spot the transitions where they stopped recording and then started again.
