PoPiPo

Just so this site isn’t totally dead, I thought I’d torture everyone with another bizarre anime thing. At first glance, I’d think it was IOSYS, but it’s actually some manner of Vocaloid thing of a song by LamazeP and noya.

The song’s titled in youtube as [Touhou PV] PoPiPo- [Tewi & Reisen], and appears to feature scary-looking vegetable juice.

Neko Miko Reimu

I’ve been rather busy the past couple weeks, and have been doing a shift 12 hours off from my normal shift, so haven’t really felt like posting anything.

I should be back to a more normal shift tomorrow, even if it is 5×8 rather then 4×10, so we’ll see how that goes.

Bla Bla Bla

Still me. My neat thing for the day/week/whatever is going to have to be this be this music video I found by DJ Gigi D’Agostino with the wonderful title of Bla Bla Bla. It has this nifty stick figure animation going of a guy walking towards a head with sharp pointy teeth.

Apparently the vocal samples are from a UK band named Stretch’s song “Why Did You Do It?”. According to the wikipedia article, the creator of the song said the song was “a piece I wrote thinking of all the people who talk and talk without saying anything”. Which is as good of an explanation of the song as any. It’s pretty catchy, too.

Happy Jack

Not sure how long we can stay on zombies, so just to get things rolling again, since there haven’t been any posts in a few days, I thought I’d post something totally unrelated. No yoga involved. Don’t think I can claim the musicians as Zombies, either. Shining Happy Zombies Holding Hands? Nah, we’ve done enough REM here for the moment.

In any case, I thought I’d play a song by the Who named Happy Jack. This is the official music video for it, featuring some thieves, some cake, and a policeman.

Zombie Yoga

Let’s see here. We’ve gone from mothers to mother love to mother *ucking on this blog. You realize it’s only a matter of time before we turn into crazy incestuous hillbilly cannibals with a talent for killing hot college girls in highly creative ways. Yep, I’ve seen the movies. We’re going to turn into braineaters.

Well, this theme seems to be going from a mother tribute theme to a mother *ucking theme, so, as such, I thought I’d contribute this song. The unforgettable duo, Flight of the Conchords, came up with a song with the name Mother *uckers that I thought would be appropriate. Or inappropriate, as the case may be.

A crack comparing the Navy to bloodthirsty Vikings comes dangerously close to not Supporting Our Troops™.  And you don’t want Cobra Commander I mean the terrorists to win the Eternal War on Terror and Evil, now do you? Why, the forces of niceness and goodness and democracy and puppy dogs are locked in combat mortal with the forces of badness and not democracy and guys with beards [1] and voting Democratic! Don’t you get it!

The Viking Tea Party

You know, Sean, I was going to post something with lots of obscenities, and generally be NSFW.

But yesterday was my moms birthday, so I’ll hold off for a day or two. Fortunately, while I might not have a good followup for One For The Road (And you should hear the whole song, Sean. But it’s cool even as only one verse.), I do still have a few Muppet videos around.

Here we have Brooke Shields as Alice at the Mad Tea Party from Alice In Wonderland singing We’re Off To See The Wizard. Don’t ask. Alice and Dorothy have a lot in common, don’t they?

And this skit has Vikings singing In The Navy, by the Village People. Is Jim Henson comparing the Navy to a group of vicious, bloodthirsty guys wearing horns who loot and pillage villages? Possibly. Is it funny? Definitely.^_^
