Former Class A War Criminal

Posted by shanoah on October 22, 2009

You know, it’s been a while since I played IOSYS on here.

This song caught my eye with the odd title of Former Class A War Criminal, and the melody itself was very catchy, even if I’m not sure of the words. Here’s some information about the song copied straight from the notes on the video:

Song: Former Class A War Criminal
Artist: IOSYS
Album: 東方風櫻宴 Phantasmagoria mystical expectation (Touhou Kazakuraen)
Album Release Date: 2006

Fourth track from the album Touhou Kazakuraen.

The song is a remix of “六十年目の東方裁判 ~ Fate of Sixty Years” (Touhou Judgement in the Sixtieth Year ~ Fate of Sixty Years), which is Sikieiki Yamaxanadu’s theme from Touhou 9: Phantasmagoria of Flower View.

The term “Class A War Criminal” is a reference to Kaya Okinori, a criminal arrested during World War II for dealing opium to the Chinese.
