    Sean Daily is an English major from New Jersey now living in Las Vegas, the Other City of Lights. "I consider 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' to be comfort reading, I like the al pastor tacos at Tacos Mexico and I count among my literary influences the Chainsaw from 'Doom'. 'RRRRRR! The Wreck In Derry

Sorry about the lateness of this post. Been a little preoccupied.

If we’re playing Gordon Lightfoot, though, we may as well play one of his more popular songs, probably the next more popular after Sundown. That would be The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. A depressing song, but a good one.

What you might not realize is that this song has also been borrowed by irish nationalists. Bobby Sands took it, rewrote the lyrics, and created the song Back Home In Derry, sung here by Jed Marum.
