    Sean Daily is an English major from New Jersey now living in Las Vegas, the Other City of Lights. "I consider 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' to be comfort reading, I like the al pastor tacos at Tacos Mexico and I count among my literary influences the Chainsaw from 'Doom'. 'RRRRRR!     Shanoah Alkire is our Discordian at large. "Born in Santa Cruz, I grew up in Grass Valley and the Bay Area, and now lurk in Las Vegas. Anyway, here’s SFA’s (Drawing) Rings Around the World, the title track off 2001’s Rings Around the World. Sez frontman Gruff Rhys on Nude as the News: 

It’s about all the rings of communication around the world. All the rings of pollution, and all the radioactivity that goes around. If you could visualize all the things we don’t see, Earth could look like some kind of fucked-up Saturn… More!

I can’t comment about that. All I can say is that video is pretty close to how I watch television, kind of like an underfunded Ozymandias.[2]

Psyclone!

I’m afraid I’m in a bit of a hurry tonight. Runaway was a cool song, though.

Today, I thought I’d play a video of a caveman, which vaguely reminds me of Sean, running around Chicago. I think it’s the beard that does it. And it’s one of those Me Smash! type moments. The song is Psyclone!, by Super Furry Animals.
