Well, it’s funny what you find when you go outside your comfort zone, Shanoah. I don’t know any Beatles covers or covers of Beatles songs so, with some desperation, I typed in “Beatles covers” into YouTube’s search engine.
The result: I came across this rather sweet cover of Blackbird, off the Beatles’ “White Album”, by Hanaregumi (guitarist/vocalist Nagazumi Takashi).

Instant Karma’s a great song. I actually heard it off of a cd I have, the John Lennon Collection. Moving on a tangent, both the songs I’m going to play today have been played by the Beatles at one point or another:
You’ve Really Got A Hold on Me – She and Him
This is a classic Smokey Robinson song, and there’s a classic Beatles cover. This cover by M. Ward and Zooey Deschanel is new, but classic in it’s own way. It feels like you’re just drifting along. The video that toodrunktodream put this to is great, too. Old clips from drive-through’s, but it works, you know? And gets bonus points for being a Discordian approach to the video.
I Should Have Known Better – She and Him
And here we have a classic Beatles song. Zooey Deschanel has a great voice, and I always did like this song.
