9-10-08 Serj Tankian – Empty Walls

Posted by gavortnik on September 10, 2008

Well, since it seems that we’ve become yet another moonbat blog [1],  we might as well seal the deal with the war protest song Empty Walls by System of a Down’s Serj Tankian, off 2007’s Elect the Dead. It has a video that’s guaranteed to raise the blood pressure of war hawks everywhere. (‘Course, the GOP hasn’t made their own little home movies to exploit the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Naaaaah, they haven’t done that at all)

Seriously, though, no matter what you think about Tankian’s politics, you gotta admit that the guy has a hell of a voice, and that he can write catchy, dramatic pop-protest lyrics like no one’s business.

Courtesy of moudraguelia, who posted this video on Sept. 11, 2007. That was probably completely coincidental, by the way.

[1] I, for one, have no problem with being associated with bats. In fact, I consider it an honor.
