The Bats

Posted by shanoah on July 25, 2008

To continue the subject of bats, I thought I’d play some music from a popular New Zealand rock band.

Namely, a group known as The Bats, whos homepage can be found here:

Flowers and Trees – The Bats

This animated video by Christian Carruthers is for the song Flowers and Trees, from their 2005 cd At the National Grid. Which is, in fact, their first non-compilation cd in 10 years.

Catchy little song, too, and I have to appreciate the animation going along with it.

By Night – The Bats

This, on the other hand, was their first single.

Block of Wood – The Bats

And this song is from their first album, Daddy’s Highway, in 1987. That chainsaw dangling over the singers head looks dangerous, doesn’t it?
